IT175 - ANON “Plan Von Turin” Prague. 1808. Colored. 6½X9½. This so far unidentified Czechoslavakian map of the walled City of Turin shows a block plan of streets and indications of buildings with the Rivers Dora & Po flowing through the City. Turin was the former capital of Piedmont. It was also famous for the Holy Shroud of Christ, it's university, palaces & castles and the Palazzo Carignano. In the top right of the map is a lettered & numbered table referring to points on the map particularly to churches, the Citadel and the State House & Government buildings. This is an attractive & rare map.
