Original Etchings of Dogs by
Marguerite Kirmse (1885-1954)

by Grace Galleries of Harpswell, Maine

Marguerite Kirmse was born in Bournemouth, England in 1885 and died in America in 1954. She lived in New York City and spent summers at a house in Bridgewater, Connecticut. She was a pupil of Frank Calderon and she specialized in drawing and etching dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes. In each of her etchings she captured and portrayed the individual personalities of the dogs she loved so much, and she drew them all with great charm and humor.

The following is a representative collection of her original etchings, any one of which would look handsome framed.

Dogs-11 - Loyalty
8½X10 - $1,000

Each etching is named & signed in pencil below the image, by the artist.
