SWIT105 - THOMAS, COWPERTHWAIT “Switzerland” Phila. 1850. Colored. 9˝X11˝. Finely detailed and colorful map shows Zurich, Berne, Lucerne, Lausanne, Locarno, Lugarno, Basel and Lakes Geneva and Constance. The map depicts mountains, rivers, forests and lakes and many smaller towns and villages. Locates borders with Italy, Lombardy, France, Baden & Austria. An excellent map.

SWIT106 - H. MOLL “Suisse or Switzerland With Their Allies & Subjects Etc. Agreeable to Modern History by H. Moll. Geographer. ” London. 1729. Colored. 8X10. Attractive early map shows Switzerland bordered by France, Germany, Austria & Italy. Depicts Lake Geneva, Bern, Lucern, Zurich, Basel, & all principal cities, towns & villages, rivers, mountains & lakes. This fine map was engraved under the direction of Herman Moll (1654-1732) one of England's foremost cartographers, & published in “Atlas Minor,” in 1729.
